Description

A natural dermatological serum formulated with organic extracts of Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) and Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis), two medicinal mushrooms of high therapeutic interest as well as antioxidant, protective and highly reparative effects.
The Mico-Repair formula is based on the synergy offered by nature itself. This synergy is optimised by the inclusion of other natural ingredients such as argan oil, sacha inchi oil, aloe vera and vitamins C and E, which moisturise and restore the skin’s hydrolipidic layer.

Application

Apply liberally twice a day, preferably morning and evening, on the affected area and rub in gently. It is recommended to first cleanse the skin with Mico-Soap: Regenerating and Soothing (Reishi, calendula & lemon).

Do not administer in case of allergy to mushrooms or any other ingredients.

Organic Reishi and Cordyceps extracts

The extracts of Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) and Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) are of special interest in skin care against both internal and external irritants thanks to their soothing, healing and antioxidant effects. Both Reishi (G. lucidum) and Cordyceps (C. sinensis) help to soothe itching and to control the appearance of desquamation (scaling) and outbreaks.

To extract our mushroms, we use proprietary Hifas Quality System technologies, which involves regular fractionation of mushroom bioactive compounds. The Reishi and Cordyceps extracts in Mico-Repair are rich in skin nourishing ingredients including β-glucans, natural antioxidants, B vitamins, essential amino acids, trace elements and minerals (Fe, Se, Zn).

Mico-Repair has demonstrated a high antioxidant capacity: –G. lucidum – 8.04± 0.10 g equivalent to Trolox*/100 g, and C. sinensis – 3.47±0.16 g equivalent to Trolox*/100 g.

*Standard used in tests to determine antioxidant capacity.

In studies by Hifas da Terra, the mushroom extracts used in Mico-Repair have demonstrated antibacterial action against various bacterial strains of clinical interest; recent studies have also shown the healing capacity of these extracts.

Argan oil: acts as a carrier deep into the cellular interior of the skin, facilitating the optimal absorption of the active ingredients from the mushroom extracts. It also regenerates, nourishes, moisturises and protects the skin.

Sacha inchi oil: is rich in essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6), vitamins A and E, amino acids and proteins. It has antioxidant, nourishing and moisturising properties. It is indicated for sensitive, dehydrated, inflamed and irritated skin.

Aloe vera: nourishing, moisturising, repairing and regenerating. It also contributes to greater elasticity, nourishment and hydration of the skin.

Hyaluronic acid: powerful moisturising action for dry and flaky skin.

Hydrolysed collagen: supports skin elasticity and prevents the appearance of wrinkles and sagging.

Glycerin: prevents dehydration and has regenerating effects.

Coco-caprylate/caprate: has emollient properties that help soften, smooth and lubricate the skin.
