What natural bioactive compounds does Cordy Sin Sport contain?

Cordy Sin Sport’s main active ingredients are polysaccharides, beta (1-3) and (1-6) D-glucans, and alpha-glucans. Cordy Sin Sport stands out for its levels of cordycepic acid, galactomannan, mannitol, ergosterol (precursor of vitamin D), adenosine, cordycepin, essential amino acids, vitamins (B1, B2 and B12, E, and K) and minerals (Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn, Se, Al, Si and Ni).

Effectiveness and bioavailability

Hifas da Terra formulas only contain active ingredients useful for your body. We do not add preservatives or additives to formulas. Cordy Sin Sort is made from 100% pure cordyceps mycellium powder.

The powder is obtained after dehydration and grinding of the mushroom mycellium. To explain concentration ratios, to obtain 6 kg of Hifas da Terra Cordyceps powder requires 60 kg of fresh mycellium. We add Cordyceps extract to this whole powder, which results in a more concentrated formula than those that use only 100% powder, which provides optimal concentration of active constituents for daily supplementation. The recommended daily dose of Cordy Sin Sport is 3 capsules.

Studies using Hifas da Terra Cordyceps

Cordyceps is a fungus that grows wild in Tibet. At Hifas da Terra we select the best Tibetan strains to grow in our state of the art bioreactor using specific natural culture media. This allows us to obtain a pure, safe, vegan product with a high concentration of bioactive compounds without the use of a grain media.

A 2011 study demonstrated that supplementation with Hifas da Terra Cordyceps and Reishi extracts modulated and reduced symptoms of overtraining syndrome (OTS) in cyclists. The testosterone / cortisol ratio, a potential indicator of training load, was analysed.

Testosterone levels (anabolic effect) increased before and after a race with supplementation. After three months of supplementation, the risk of experiencing overtraining symptoms decreased by almost 9%.

There are infant formulas whose dose is adjusted according to the child’s weight. They are specially recommended for children under 6 years of age.
